I have been making this spaghetti sauce for YEARS! I cut the recipe out of the Boston Globe many years ago, but was missing the last couple of steps. So I thought I would try to find it online. And voila! I love this sauce!
I too have used this sauce for years, but the last time I made it, it didn’t taste like I thought it should, so I tried looking the original recipe up online. BINGO. I can now go back to the original that was soooooo good. I thought the lady that won that cook off was from Ocean Springs, MS. Not sure but she sure made an impression on me and I will continue to make it, only now I will go back to the original. Thank you Ms. Futral. I think I started using her recipe in 82′. I too only use Hunt’s Products. They are the best.
I too cut this recipe out of the Boston Globe YEARS ago. I still have the tattered, yellow copy to this day. It’s the only one I use. My husband could eat it every day. I have scanned and filed it to my computer so that it never gets misplaced etc. Now, I know I can print another copy using this site if needed.
