S’Mores Giveaway

I just got back from a fantastic lunch at the Waldorf-Astoria in New York City (home to early Pillsbury Bake-Off contests!) where I spent the afternoon with a wonderful group of food bloggers.  We sat down to celebrate the brand new “The S’mores Cookbook” by Susan Whetzel of Doughmesstic.com!

The meal started with, of course, a Waldorf Salad!

I ordered the Blackened Mahi Mahi Sandwich.

dessert

We were all warned to save room for dessert…a trio of S’Mores inspired confections made especially for us by the Waldorf pastry chef.

Susan even brought gifts!  A copy of her new cookbook and a Hershey’s Chocolate Bar beach towel.   Now it is time for me to share the fun with all of you!

  9. I love s’mores because f the versatility of the combination of ingredients. Not only can you do different combos of chocolate and marshmallow, like using white chocolate instead of Hershey’s bars, using cinnamon graham crackers instead of regular honey. But you can use that 3 ingredient combination in a variety of things; ice cream, cupcakes, chocolate s’more cream pie, s’more parfaits, lots of things! So if you get bored with the traditional way… there are a WORLD of possibilities!

  10. I also posted this on BOTH of my Facebook pages, one for my food site, and one for my regular page. I also posted on YOUR Facebook page and already “like” the page and follow you.

Counts as the 2nd and 3rd requirements for the contest… I think

Use cookies, white cocolate bars, giant marshmellos, sometimes the little guy adds cheese slices! Smores Blizzards from DQ have been duplicated in our home blender even! Can’t get enough of those SMORES!
