Parmesan Wheel Giveaway!

Is there anything better than freshly grated Parmesan cheese? Mario Batali frequently refers to Parmesan as “the undisputed king of cheeses,” and I certainly agree!

    1. I would use it in so many ways.. salads, veggies, baked meats, cassaroles, etc.. living low-carb, and this is perfect!

    2. I an excited b/c nothing that comes in a plastic jar can compete wtth the smooth nutty bite of parmesan !!

    3. I would use it to make a variety of dishes but first I would make a sweet yet savory Greek style cheese pie for my mother. But the list of ways I would use it is endless and I would love to win it and post photos and recipes to go along with the many ways I would incorporate it into recipes.

  1. I love adding Parmesan to all my recipes that call for cheese. I sprinkle broccoli and Brussel sprouts so my son eats them with no complaints. Works everytime!

  2. I have a great recipe for chicken and eggplant Parmesan – having this cheese would probably take it to a new level of yum!

  3. Wow – I would make my winning Quaker Oats Pesto Rolls which everyone loves -plus I would make a homemade pesto filling — both use freshly grated Parmesan cheese! Bon Appetit, Y’all and thank you Cello cheese!

  5. Pesto would be perfect made with this beautiful cheese. And my basil is thriving right now!

  6. I love cheese on salads, pasta, scrambled eggs, potatoes, meat, fish (which my husband hates to see me do), just about anything that has space for cheese. The wheel would have a very good home.

  10. Parmesan crusted grilled cheese sandwiches, parmesan crisps, pesto, eaten with a pear or apple.

  11. Oooh – so many possibilities! Would definitely start with pesto, then would add a chunk to my minestrone, and then would serve slices on a cracker with local honey and fresh figs. A whole wheel of parmesan sounds like a dream!

  13. When traveling I learned to make a wonderful dish that I would love to use the Cello Artisan Cheese to replicate! I would use the cheese to accent and bring out the brightness of a fresh vegetable primavera accompanied with a wonderful gooey garlic bread followed by a glass of local red wine!

  14. I love it in salads, I go through a wedge a week! Parmesan mixed into a garlicky vinaigrette and tossed with romaine, crisp red cabbage and any other veggies to suit your fancy!

  15. The thought of winning an entire wheel of Parmesan Cheese is thrilling! Cheese is an integral component of any romantic meal! start with an appetizer of long shavings of parmesan cheese coupled with honey, a variety of jellies, grapes on a fresh baguette and of course a crisp dry win. Follow this with a champagne salmon bisque toped with the nutty, salty topping of melted gooey parmesan cheese. The entrée would be a crepe of a seafood mixture of in a light cream sauce with a mixture of wonderful parmesan cheese with white wine, garlic and salt and pepper….. The key to romance is the cheese!

  16. A variety of pestos using different herbs from my garden, which would include basil, parsley, tarragon, etc. Then my choice of nuts & seeds would vary from walnuts, pinenuts, hazelnuts, pumpkin seeds and sunflower seeds

  17. I use freshly grated Parmesan cheese for a lot of dishes, but with my basil plants going crazy right now, I would use this mouthwatering wheel of cheese to make pesto!

  20. Oh OH OH this is exciting spinach artichoke dip, pasta carbonara, fondue, homemade pesto sauce, lasagna, you name it the list is endless and this beautiful parmesan wheel would not go to waste in this house that’s for sure love it

  23. I would not use it myself – I don’t eat cheese. But my wife is a cheese fanatic. We need to bring an extra suitcase when we visit Italy just for all of the cheese we bring back with us.

  27. I think some Cacio e pepe would be in order, along with a kale and fennel salad smothered with parmesan, and eventually, scoop it out and fill it with a fonue-inspired masterpiece. of cheese, bread and happiness!

  31. I would make a nice Creamy Alfredo Sauce for starters. Also use it brighten and accent many personal favorites including potatoes, Vegetable Soup, and over Roasts like Pork and Leg of Lamb.

  36. I have a really big Italian family . I could just see us all sitting at the dining room table on Sunday with the big macaroni meal putting your wonderful cheese on top of it ! Then I’d share this journey and cheese with my family so we can all enjoy it after that . Then you would have the new families buying your cheese after they taste how wonderful it is !

  44. I am in the process of making fresh Greek Grean Beans with garlic and onions. Green beans from my garden. The Cello Artisian Cheese would bring this dish over the top. This side dish uses fresh tomatoes and a dry whit wine all that’s needed to finish it off is this glorious Cello Cheese.

  49. Wow! If I won the cheese, not only would I invite my closest friends, but I would scoop out the inside, just a little bit to make a well shape, then I’d toss pasta inside of it and serve it up!
