Happy National Burger Day! To celebrate, I wanted to share a unique and creative award-winning burger from over 20 years ago. These Gingered Beef Burgers earned the grand prize in the 1993 Build a Better Burger recipe contest.
A beef burger patty is accented with crystalized ginger, soy sauce, mirin and, of course, a dash of wine. The elegant hamburgers pair perfectly with a Sutter Home White Zinfandel.
